Interesting read on Contractural Arachnodactyly (CA), "fawn calf syndrome" with some pics, see if they compare to your calf.

If that is what you are looking at then your heifer is a carrier of the CA gene, and the bull she was joined to was also a carrier. As long as you join her to a CA free bull next time her next calf will be fine (but 50% chance it will be a carrier too).
