“These are the times that try men's souls.” | Interesting that UHT milk is that big of a market in your area because it doesn't here. I shipped to processor for 29 years that UHT milk. My opinion it's a great product at least ours was. I feel there was better quality of milk that way than the stuff on in jugs on the shelf is. I've had more spoiled milk in school lunch programs and out of grocery stores. I never had one bad drink of UHT milk. But in typing this I got to thinking are we talking about the same milk. Our milk was shelf stable for a year, It just came to my attention a few weeks ago that other milk that uses Aseptic label is being produced, but not with the same shelf life as the product my producer manufactured. I thought I heard something to the effect of 6 months or so, I'm not sure. Can you please tell me more about the products you are talking about or even what's its labeled under.
But I do know for a fact the product I'm familiar with, doesn't even make a dent in the fluid market. |
