Scranton | I've been shorted by any number of folks over my lifetime. Its part of life and I move on.
I just get a kick out of this place when someone is judged to have done something wrong, many become "perfect" and would never do such a thing. I wasn't in his wife's shoes so I won't judge...maybe she was in a bad place in life (medical issues, kids, had a bf or husband who ran up her debt, etc) or maybe she was irresponsible. If it was a long time ago, it does noone any good to pay it now except those cretins who buy up the bad debt and abuse people who may or may not even be the right people to try to collect it. She's paid the price on her credit rating, and if she decides to let it go and live more responsibly the rest of her life, thats her decision.
I just know that many of the locals who sit in the front row at church and are the first to judge wrongdoings have screwed a lot of people on their way to Ivory tower. (not saying that is you, btw, but I've seen it a lot) | |
