E.Central MN | I think a lot of news stations are probably thinking its just like any other flooding, there would be stories about people sandbagging, some people will get water in their basements, a few cars will get flood damage, and then the rivers will crest and in a week or so things will be back to normal. If it wasn't for the ice then maybe that would have been the case there, too. Its going to take time/money to fix that infrastructure, loss of life has been pretty low fortunately, maybe that's why its not getting more coverage. | |
