Russ, our processor can't get enough milk, even though they don't know what to do with it. Others have put a limit on what there guys can produce and no new milk. Long story short, for me to keep up with payments I need a certain number of cows in my barn at all times to keep up. Trying to grow the last few years with the cull rate I'm running is not ideal. You are right on cattle prices, they should be easy to cash flow, but not much extra cash for me at the moment. I have been culling my bottom end and replacing with very good cows for almost 1 for 1. Long story short my tank is moving in the right direction.
