SW Iowa | How come they are closing the gates as we type then if the damn dam will blow? They have capacity to hold back that big surge they sent down last week. Even as late as Saturday they continued to open the gates up at GP. That water is so dam political up in SD. They want all that recreation money, and then plenty of head water for generator power, and flood control/proper damage down stream is the last thing they care about. CLEAN HOUSE and retire those generals and colonels in charge.
