west central ohio | Was thinking 280 head to get started and possibly over the course of a year maybe up to 800 head. The main requirements would be want inside shelter not wanting to feed Holsteins on total outside lots, need to sort fats off by semi load not wanting to sell a pen at one time, and really from there I think a great trustworthy custom feeder and me could put the rest together as it would fit both parties needs. As for keeping things full we start calves every 8 to 9 weeks they stay at baby barn till 14 weeks then to grower barn till week 27 from there they head for finish barn so on a rotation where it should flow once we get on schedule. | |
