Northeast Nebraska

The dam it self never held much water ,matter of fact they flushed it at least twice a year.
The river starts in wy. and meanders through Nebraska , 540 miles and the dam is 45 miles from the East end.

If anything the loss of the Spencer dam now means more of that sediment will reach Gavin's Point. Lewis & Clark Lake already has a sediment issue, this will make it much worse.
