| Yep, when the school bus got stuck when a blizzard was moving in, I pulled it out. Found out later that was a big no no. I understand why, but at the time I felt I did what needed to be done. Any wrecker capable of it would have been at least an hour out.
The emergency crews were overwhelmed, it wasn’t an isolated event, half the state was flooded and isolated, you couldn’t get from one town to another. It’s not like they had all the stuff for recues just sitting around unused. I’m sure at the time they felt like that was the best option with what they had available. | |
