At home I have the toplink and manuals and some shop manuals on my equipment . But when I take a used tractor on trade and you ask the farmer you do have the toplink and manuals 9 times out of 10 I get that deer in the headlight look with well I will have try to find them. And most of the time it is a no show with them . I have seen a lot of thing most people would not believe that a customer will try to change out on a trade in equipment. Having a phone to take pics of trade on the day you look at it takes alot of headache out of the deal. A picture of the dash with the key on show a 3/4 tank of fuel and the hours shows up when it gets to the dealer you can be lucky to have enough fuel to get it off the truck and only a couple hours added to the clock .

yep i've bought quite a few things that showed fuel at half or above then you get it and it's on empty. my TM190 had 3/4 but when pulling it off the dealers truck it was pretty much running on fumes. i understand why someone might drain the fuel when it's a private sale but a dealer draining it somehow feels much worse
