IA | In this age of high turnover, I've come to the conclusion that some, if not most, coworkers will be a little stand offish until you've been there long enough for them to realize you might actually stay. They don't want to waste time on someone who will be leaving soon. The guys that are friendly to you right out of the gate are the guys you'll naturally gravitate to and they're friends with everyone usually.
Probably goes without saying, but keep the inappropriate jokes to yourself. There's always going to be relative of a coworker who is the butt of a bad joke.
Depending on the job your doing, you will have your eyes opened to some lousy work ethic. Don't take it to heart or it will consume you.
