| I'm trying to crunch numbers and figure what rate I can pay to have calves custom fed. I want to pay based on gain. Meaning so many cents per lb gained. What are the price ranges that everyone is seeing? Using the searching function I have only come across numbers using yardage added to feed cost. What factors must be considered by both parties? I am taking into account-- Quality of the calves, how fleshy they are, sex, age and frame. Quality of the facilities as well. Thank you. | |
