No, they raise their calf for the season, they just don't get put in with the bull to get rebred. They get a ride to town. No time for trouble the next year. Haven't had a prolapse in atleast 5 years. A money loser is to try and breed her again and she comes up open or she prolapses again. I have better things to do with my time

they will NEVER EVER rebreed here, cuz the don't stay around to find out. That's how things roll here.


Seems like a money loser to not at least let her raise the calf. Or do you just sell them as a pair after she's healed?
