I think it is a huge logistical challenge for them to do this for customers. I think medium sized stuff is what most prefer. Can’t make everybody happy is the problem.
I quite commonly got the hybrids I wanted for my personal farm but sacrificed seed size and still a lot of customers didn’t get sizes they wanted. That’s a tough deal for dealers and DSMs cause they really have extremely little control over that.
I will tip my hat to Agrigold and Agreliant. When I was a customer of theirs I seeemed to almost always get at least the same seed size for my orders if it wasn’t exactly what I wanted. That’ helps a lot on properly setting up your planter. Changing seed sizes constantly and adjusting precision finger meters sucks
