Hazelton, Kansas
Matt,

Now wait a minute, Matt...there's the potential new product here.

1-1/4" OD stainless can be bought for $10/ft, even in small quantities.

Put a bend in it, drill a hole, and you're good to go. That assumes no bell and barbs. The flex hose will be attached to the stainless using a short sleeve of larger flex hose and two hose clamps.

Dunno what Deere gets for the mild steel tubes, but I'll bet you could fab up a stainless alternative for a competitive price. And permanently solve (or at least greatly reduce) a real annoyance.

FWIW, I don't run dry fertilizer through mine, and they still rust in.

Regards.
