Approximately how far from the river is that and have your dad ever seen the water that high?
It’s probably about a half mile. It covered about 110 acres of our ground in this bottom. It is more than my dad has seen, and probably more than my grandpa saw. I should add that there is a four lane divided highway covered up out in the middle.
Well, it's not your fault then, it sucks because those aren't cheap, but none of us can predict something we've never seen before. I'm willing to bet it won't happen again though!
