NE Iowa | We are in an area with high lime water. About once a year we need to de-lime our power washer. Does anybody make a filter or device to de-lime the water?
If not, it was suggested that we put in a water softener ahead of the power washer. Curious for those hat have done that how big of a softener you put in for a 5gpm washer and much softener salt you go thru. We wash a fair amount of equipment and semi trucks, soft water would be nice, but it's probably cheaper to de-lime once a year than buying softener salt. Curious what others have done that have a similar situation. Thanks
