Sportsmans guide had a complete kit with fluted barrel, upper reciever, bolt, buttstock, buffer tube, and trigger kit for $350. Basically everything but the lower.
I paid $350 for 20 inch fluted SS barrel (wylde) with upper reciever at a gun show. Had another $350 into the rest of it.
Unless you want to build a completely custom gun or want to mill out an untraceable lower, better off buying a complete rifle.
