A 1500 watt heater running 8 hours would be 12 kwh. This would be 15% of an 80kwh capacity.
So your 400 mile range would be come 340 miles.

As far as cost.
If a kWh has a cost of 12¢ and you get 5 miles per kWh or a 2.4¢/ mile for the electric or $2400 for 100000 miles.
You would need to get 104 miles to the gallon to match this price.

Now consider Walmart is putting in fast chargers that will give you 20 miles of range per minute. This will help alleviate some concerns on time to refuel.
Heck you could use the bathroom get your self a rotisserie chicken and have a half charge in 10 minutes ;)

Let’s also consider you are keeping a vehicle for 200,000 miles so you will need new batteries at $10,000 so for an electric vehicle it would cost $14,800 in electric and batteries for 200,000 miles of service.
In a gasser that say gets 25 mpg and using $2.50/gal fuel cost you would have $20,000 in fuel. But let’s not forget an ic engine needs oil changes every 5,000 miles at $40 a pop. So you now have another $1,600 in cost but let’s not forget a tune up that would be another couple hundred.
In this example your electric vehicle would cost 7.4¢/mile for energy and a gasser would cost you 10.8¢/ mile.
I’m getting 30%+ less cost associated with owning an electric vehicle using the number mentioned above.

If you owned it for a period of time less than the battery life your cost for energy would be 1/4 of that of a gasser.

Or if you don’t drive a lot of miles per year, you could increase that calculated battery and heat expense by many orders of magnitude before getting to your 200,000 mile figure.
