If you own your land, grow value added or high value crops, and have cash to pay for inputs you'll like it.

If your renting the land don't bother and click to the next thread.

If your selling #2 corn, or #2 soys to the elevator don't bother. The elevator doesn't care or even check your load for protein or nutrient density and the price reflects that. We have an economy setup to provide a cheap abundant food supply.

When growing a high value crop with the Albrecht system, then selling it at retail it helps create a brand uniqueness that is hard for competitors to copy.

Albrecht was about the connection in human health via the nutrient density in the food they were eating. Doctors treat symptoms and the issues after the fact not preventing them. So Albrecht focused on the start of the problem at the soil. He looked at WWI teeth records from service men and the quality of their teeth and the soil fertility of where they lived as most ate a regional diet at the time.

The BCSR helps manage air and water in the soil to promote more soil life. Some push covers which stimulate the soil life, but then leave them in an environment that isn't too supportive of them.

All the balancing of the cations won't replace tile if you need tile.

The Albrecht papers are hard to read. Kinsey's hands on agronomy is easy to read in comparison and i would suggest reading that before even trying The Albrecht papers.

Soil-life who posted no agtalk years ago uses the Albrecht system. There are a few of us on here who do as well.

Old soil-life posts can be pulled up here but like Albrecht not everyone can easily understand how he explains everything. It clicked for me with reading kinsey, albrecht, the posts and talking to soil-life on the phone several times:
