I have often wondered what kind of feedback vets get on their dating pregnancy calls. Seems like feedback would be the best way to hone skills. But when you do hundreds (thousands?) of cows each fall. It is months until calves are born, and most even if a rancher kept track of every cows calving date and corresponded it to what the vet said... there is still no way the vet could relate that info back to what they were actually feeling while palpating.

So... it’s all still a question.

I would just about rather pull bulls after so many days and check myself. I may not be able to date pregnancies. But for the most part, I can tell if they are pregnant or not.
