Pulling the pedal wont do it, if the switch is bent down.. you have to lift the little switch up to make it release. We have replaced ours several yrs ago, so dont exactly remember where they were.
Eta we changed ours because when the mfwd was on auto it would stay kicked out, but would work when put on “on”.
