No I don’t think the divider would work for you. Because the master cylinder (MC)is used to multiply your tractors hydraulic power to lift the weight of the loaded fertilizer tanks and planter. As far as if a 7000 cylinder would work I don’t know. You could probably ask your jd dealer. What tractor are you pulling the planter with? The (MC) was required when that planter was new because the tractors hydraulics were not as strong as newer tractors. Also don’t forget do you need the (MC) to disengage your planter at the ends?

I’m using a 5288 IH. And no I don’t need MC to disengage it’s still done with a clutch on planter
