East Central Nebraska | Interesting videos and pictures in the Lincoln Journal star and I'm not computer savy enough to paste a link properly. I drove up to the platte river last evening on Hwy 79 by North Bend Ne. That river was like an ocean. I talked to the state patrolman sitting there and said several times they thought the bridge was going to go as the ice chucks beat on it. The ices chunks are as big as cars. Swells looked 10 ft on it and it was a moving. Bridge there is closed this morning. I hope it doesn't wash out. I got March delivery corn to the elevator there in North Bend. At least they are good to work with, so not to worried about it.
