KS and NE in eastern 3rd | When people who have been waiting for it to go lower and it does but they can't afford it, that's when the real lows will be struck. Farm sold here last fall in an area that should have gained a lot of attention. Banker told me only 1 guy asked abut loaning money on the farm. At the auction only 2 guys bid and they were bidding with cash. What I'm saying is the lows are set by guys with money not guys that have been waiting 10+ years for it to come down. In the 80's when dad was buying land there were very few "new" buyers, it was being done by guys with big land bases. | |
