Texas Panhandle | Thanks for the reply. I can't say for certain, but I believe a lot of folks are using just a coulter with direct injection. Shoots a stream in the slot behind or in front of the coulter. That's what I would prefer if most of it lands inside the soil. I believe all phos is immobile like you say but it's not necessarily wasted on top as it will eventually be worked in.
