| The last large scale purchase of soybeans prior to March 8 was reported Feb 5th. On March 8, a purchase of 664,000 MT was reported which by the rules occurred on March 7 and would have been included in the weekly report ending March 7. The next sizable notice occurred on March 11 which by the rules would have occurred on March 8 and supposedly missed the March 7 reporting deadline and make the weekly report tomorrow.
There are two possibilities, the 1.036 MMT difference between the 1.7 MMT in the weekly report and the 0.664 MMT in the March 8th notice could have been five or more sales of less than 200,000 MT which is unlikely, a sale that was reported on the 7th but didn't make the notice until March 11, or a sale reported on the 8th, announced on the 11th but back dated to the 7th or before.
