South Dakota | I spent all day yesterday digging snow out of ditches cause the water was going right in towards my house. Luckily the ground is still frozen so nothings going in the basement. Most of my cows are still grazing stalks, but my heifers are in a cattle yard that flooded bad. They were on an island for a while. I went and checked them at 1 am and the water had receded. I’m with you though, I’m just glad there are no calves or that would’ve been a nightmare. I’ve got lambs on the ground though, I’m moving my lambing date to May as well, this is going to make lambs get sick. | |
