SE Nebraska, Near Misery and Cans Ass!

JD 9400 - 3/15/2019 00:52 I do wonder why those batteries are so expensive?? They don't appear to be all that special just from looking at the pictures. I realize pics don't say a whole lot sometimes. What are the specs on those batteries?? I wonder if group 31 batteries would fit, and/or be adequate?? I can put 4 925 CCA group 31 batteries in our Pete for $320 for all 4. The prices on those GM batteries is nuts!

31's are cheap because there are literally hundreds of them sold for every one of another size. What else do you know that will fit virtually every thing made from 1975 on other than Heavy truck batteries? The thousands that individual consumers could save every year with a little standardization of consumables

For a brief period of time every personal vehicle on the place had 16 inch wheels and tires were about $100. Now have 20-22" and they are $400. Semi tires are similar in price and 3-4 times more material.

Don't start me on filters!

End of rant!
