WY, OK | It is a typical March blizzard for that part of the world. Nothing crazy or insane or out of the ordinary, in fact you better hope for a March blizzard, or April or at the very least a May blizzard to get the grass to grow in the summer. 50-70mph wind is a 7-8 month standard East of the Rockies and March is definitely one of those months. Crazy, insane or out of the ordinary would be a bone dry March or a dry snow with no wind. Most guys want to see a blizzard by St. Patricks day or they start worrying about an impending drought.
I saw them station a guy in WY and conditions weren't what they wanted so they said it didn't matter that it didn't technically count as a blizzard it "felt" like one and that was good enough for them.
The use of the words "crazy" and "insane" by the weather channel stooges is very calculated to play into their anthropogenic global warming narrative. | |
