Used grease out of the grease gun for 30+ years. Always thought it worked well. I will say that grease didn't entirely stop corrosion if it was already started. Even cleaning up corrosion on battery terminals, etc., with a wire brush, and then greasing everything up good didn't entirely stop it. It would really slow it down, but oftentimes in a couple years the corrosion would be coming back a little.

A few years ago I picked up some Whip at the Keystone Farm Show. Best stuff ever, no question.

That's the only thing we use now.
