I have not, but we're usually more worried about grass tetany and offering other feeds (corn silage, grass hay, stalks, baleage) and mineral or blocks to offset it. Some species of plants have elements to them that are suppose to offset the chemistry that cause bloat. Maybe one of those would work in your situation. Maybe you can break this 5 acres up with a couple reels of poly wire and limit or strip graze them and let them eat hay the rest of the time or corn with Rumensin mixed in to reduce the risk of them gorging on rapidly growing lush forage?
