It wasn't based on how much you farm it was based off if you plant beans or not. Soybeans are what was affected the most so they got the biggest payment. As long as the government is giving payments if you are going to stay competitive with your neighbor who is taking them you have to. I wish the government would get completely out, and that includes no more reports. I really think we would all be better off in the long run.


Soybeans weren’t even close to the commodity that took the biggest hit from the tariffs, they’re just the crop that gets the most press. There’s much more to US ag than corn and beans.
