I get your point Cornstock. If your situation is different or you want to stand up for other people in those situations that is fine - I think those are exceptions to the rule and wish there was a way to separate abusers and honest operations.

What I'm trying to point out is Farmer Bob with 10k acres adding his wife, son, or other person to leases to go beyond the max out the govt payment. It's exploiting a loophole.

Because it's legal doesn't mean it's right. I live in Grassley's neck of the woods, so maybe that's why we both have this sentiment. That non-farming spouse is getting farm payments and they are doubling their CAP. Not uncommon.
