Central IL | Ok thanks. We just got this spreader so Im just going over it fixing everything. Another question..on the gear box on the left side that runs the apron chains, where are you draining the oil? With the drive motor on the bottom on that side the drain plug ended up on the side. I was going to take a bottom bolt out of the side cover and see if that would drain it. I guess there is just grease in the cavity where the drive gear from hydraulic motor mounts because theres a small crack in the housing that grease came out of when I greased that zerk but the oil level is fine in the actual gear case. | |
