Wife broke arm and dislocated her shoulder skiing in December. Bones have healed fine. Ulnar nerve has been tossing a riot since. Surgery was yesterday to relieve the nerve. Turns out it was buried in scar tissue and snapping across bone every time she move her elbow. Dr relocated it. and took care of the carpal too. I woke up to her sitting up with legs crossed and humming. Right now she is gabby. A friend is here baking. Different world from the life of pain the last two months. Still healing to go . but light is visible.
We have learned in this process that heavy bruising can lead to scarring. In this case the hit to the elbow and bruising is what led to the nerve being trapped. Maybe this will help some one else.
