Western WY		I don't know what you mean by recutter.

When we mix we look for the alfalfa pieces to be .75 - 1.5 inches long. I put the bales in as whole bales and the knives in the mixer cuts them up.

I have filled my mixer to near the top. I have the 10" rubber extension on mine that someone else mentioned.

As someone else mentioned, you may want to see if you have plugged fuel filters or a dirty air cleaner.
