The hazardous nature of pesticides is one of the big reasons I am farming organically. The premium price is the main economic driver, but I'd have a hard time going conventional if the price premium went away.
Meanwhile, us organic farmers are doing our part to cut down the excess carryover grain with our lower yields! | |
