Keep milk solids consistent, but increase the amount of liquid. If 10 oz powder in 2qt milk = 12% solids, then 15 oz powder in 3 qt of milk still = 12% solids. Increasing to 3qt for any duration during their time on milk and then slowly cutting back will increase their starter intake. Well worth the extra $20, in my opinion, due to the added gain from the milk replacer, lower treatment cost (because they now have more energy to fight disease), and the increase in starter intake.
