Yes. This will be for organic watermelon, peppers, and cucumbers. We will grow about 40 acres of bedded plants this year. Up from 16 acres last year.

We had buckwheat, forage collards, and cereal rye grass interseeded last year. The Buckwheat flowers attracted lots of pollinators and beneficial. We did not have insect pests in slicing cucumbers. We were impressed as cukes are generally pest insect magnets. The weeds were non-existent. Last year this field was infested with annual weeds. I was totally embarrassed.

We stomped the cover by driving a tractor, 1370 Case, down the rows. This worked but not optimum.
