I was told by my broker that Mexico is. Holding off on a major corn purchase ( as much as 10mmt ) of corn because they want steel tariffs removed . Can anybody tell me why they are still in place it seems that they agreed to the new NAFTA so what's the hold up

Looking at the difference between last year and this year at this time, Mexico has 2 mmt more on the books than last year. They’ve also got 1.2 on the books for next year. If they committed to another 10 mmt now that would be a significant increase over what they’ve ever done, that would be fantastic! They’re practically at what they normally do for the year already. I think your broker knows chit.
