NW Central Ohio | ...I've had an $18 LG phone connected through Tracphone for 4 years. I can't seem to get the battery to die so I can get another. It is a flip phone...it does have an outside screen so you can see who is calling before answering (Which is rather important when you're paying by the minute and all these credit card and insurance scams call you!) I tend to break the outside screen on them by laying something heavy on my lap...but if you are careful..it lasts a long time. I believe it goes through Verizon towers....I would ask where I'm pricing them if they can verify that. I doubt I spend over $120/year on it. Buys me enough minutes to keep in contact. I'm not one of those guys you will ever see driving down the road with my phone in my ear constantly though. | |
