NE Nebraska | As others mentioned, lots of fruit and vegetables. Apple or celery stuffed w/ peanut butter is filling.
My husband likes Diet Mountain Dew, but a good substitute for him is Lipton Citrus Green Tea (can get diet or regular)
On Saturday or Sunday I make 5 or 6 sandwiches and keep them in the fridge or freezer: ham & cheese, ham salad, roast beef and cheese, chicken salad.
I buy the following items in large boxes of individual paks from Amazon, HyVee or Sam's Club. We don't buy regular chips anymore.
Veggie Straws, individual paks of pistachios, Enlightened Sea Salt bean crisps (come in a variety pak with various flavors), Sahale fruit & nut trail mix.
The individual paks are nice because it can teach you to eat a little slower and savor it, which fills you up before you dig in and eat a whole large quantity of something.
