If they are using the Ag Connections Land.db and give you the software for free to use, and you are not using another software to keep track of records then it may be a benefit to you. I have been doing it for 3 years. We do not get a premium from our local corn miller. I do it for the info to baseline what I am doing, how to improve, and where I rank among my peers. I do not have landlords asking for environmental data yet but if it comes to that (I don't think it will) I will have info to give them. I think it is documentating what you are already doing but for me it is a 2nd or 3rd entry if data since I cannot just "dump" it out of Farmworks and import it in Land.db. I do not like the principle that we are doing the work, giving the info for their marketing, and will not see a penny for it, but they will for an emotional sale on the store self.
