North Central Texas
My thoughts are the same on the creek. It's use will be limited. There is a sod farm right north of the creek that keeps the water flowing with irrigation runoff. I have a good windmill in the creek pasture. The current 4 pastures rotate through a pen with well water. The north block has a trough and we'll for the south end and a spring on the north end. The land of 50 ac fields is spring fed on the nw pasture, a well between the two south pastures and a well between to two east pastures.

I'm trying to figure out the wheat. I'm thinking about only rotating the Bermuda and creek in September and October. I'll let all the "green" areas stockpile then use them with wheat starting in november. I'll probably break the group up into 3 different herds for winter.
