| I agree that FV is a simplified version of precision software, but it is also very rigid and allows for only specific things. I am not sure I would be comfortable giving my data to the company who controls the pricing of my seed and chems either. Seems like giving them all of the advantages and handicapping myself. As for comparing SMS to FV it isn't very comparable. Plus the difference in price is easily made up for when you talk about Rx for more than 1k acres. It does take most of the heavy lifting precision wise off the growers and their agronomists. Allows farmers to just do what the seed companies say......... since you know they have your best interests in mind. | |
