WC Mn/Dakotas | Little confused on what you have or want to do. The reality is nothing worthwhile in precision ag is really cheap. Decisions have costs. Vrt seed for my growers creates a $25/acre and often more opportunity. Usually $5-20 just in seed savings. Probably more money to be made for the effort in beans than in corn. Biggest take away should be understanding that not all rx are created, nor perform equally. You can have 2 sources of an rx with the same min, max and avg seed numbers, actually be planted very differently spatially. They may "look" the same to the eye, but they function differently. If your only option is ccfv then use it, try it, learn its abilities and limitations. Otherwise invest your time and money in more robust software like sms or better yet gk. Seek out a private precision ag specialist is probably the best quality and the quickest method. It will come with a "big" bill, but it will also be the biggest roi this year while you handle other functions. | |
