Subject: Be honest now, how much are you paying per bushel for corn fertilizer?


I'm paying about 67 cents per bushel for corn fertilizer and 43 cents per bushel for seed. My soils are nothing special but not terrible for this part of the country.

Edit: I mean all fertilizer (NPK) although in my case it includes some sulfur as ammonium sulfate. Also, I assume all the fertilizer is allocated to the corn crop even though some may be available for the following year's bean crop.
Edit: I also assume you fertilize for an expected yield which you achieve on average over several years. For example, I fertilize for 160 bpa and some years it yields less, some years more.
