Oshkosh, WI | DMI ecolo 1300 questions
It has six ecolo shanks in a strait line across the back on 30 inch centers. I think it had three lead shanks on it. Some have five but this model has tandem tires which would be in the way of the most outside lead shanks if there were 5.
Do you guys like the lead shanks or are they more trouble than good?
What size point and cover boards do you run on the ecolo shanks? I previously ran a three shank DMI with tiger shanks and 10 inch points and cover boards. I really like the job it did burying corn residue.
I chop corn stalks prior to plowing.
