I’ve heard all that also and I know it could be true, but I’d like to see his soil test.

I’m not pushing Phos but am pushing K. I believe my soil test say that’s what I need. Idk tho. I know a prominent farming family that is also basically not applying fertilizer to soils that been heavily no tilled and commonly cover cropped. Idk if that makes a difference, but they also say they see a negative ROI of applied dry P&K vs the not applied areas and have done years of test and feel confident they are not harming their soils in the short or long runs

Don’t know if you’re a reader or use audible but I’ve listened to this book and it talks about that. I would find it hard to believe that covers could regenerate a depleted soil, but I’m sure they would definitely help maintain higher levels.
